Ferrum High School rugby boys participated in the 2019 Durban North College rugby week, alongside schools such as Birchleigh, Greytown, Port Shepstone, Vryheid, Empangeni, Linpark and many more schools. This popular school-sporting event is something young rugby players look forward to each year, as they gear themselves up to represent their school and their town.

During the rugby week the boys played numerous matches and had very impressive results:
Ferrum High School’s 1st rugby team won all three their matches against Greytown, Durban Academy and Ladysmith. The team was placed 2nd overall, as the team placed in 1st position scored an additional try in their matches played.

The under-16 Ferrum rugby boys were the overall winners of the rugby week and won all three of their matches against New Forest, Birchleigh and Empangeni.

Well done boys! We are proud of you.
